Christian Bassett is recruiting a Head Consultant Hong Kong and Macau.

 

Christian Bassett is a specialised International Search Consultancy, with offices across Europe & Asia Pacific, providing bespoke recruitment solutions for the Luxury Goods Industry. 

 

Covering all positions within the industry, including: CEO/MD & GM, Retail Management, Buying & Merchandising, Communications & Marketing, Finance, Design, Logistics & Supply Chain, HR, and Production & Product Development. 

 

Job Description

• To manage, lead and develop a team of Search Consultants in our Hong Kong office. 

• To handle specific searches personally, with a strong focus on Asia Pacific, but also to be capable to handle international searches. 

• To successfully search, select and present candidates to clients. 

• To manage and develop client relationships with both local HR and GMs across the APAC region and points of contacts in Head Quarters. 

• To identify and approach new clients and needs. 

• To ensure the team abides by the highest quality industry practices. 

• To familiarise yourself with the luxury goods industry, market trends, and regional & cultural differences. 

• To establish strong and productive relationships with your team and fellow colleagues. 

• To ensure the team reflect the highest level of quality and speed in relation to candidate delivery and account management. 

• To complete all necessary administration needs (updating Database and Website etc). 

• Identify possible missed opportunities and new business ventures for our company

• To conduct business development predominantly for Hong Kong and Macau and across Asia pacific

• To manage P&L

 

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum BA Hons University Education (Masters an advantage)

• Industry knowledge

• English / Cantonese language skills

• We are open to candidates coming from a luxury goods background or a recruitment/HR background

• Understanding of the Asia Pacific market: both culture and Terrain

• Experience of managing a small team

• Honesty, transparency and loyalty

• Confident telephone manner and Head Hunting style

• Strong Interpersonal skills
