Logistic Supervisor, Taipei

Christian Bassett is recruiting a Logistic Supervisor, Taipei for a luxury jewellery company.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Reporting to: Financial Controller

 

Logistics Operation (80%)

• Manage day to day logistic operation of jewellery and raw materials in HK/TW/CN and Europe, full responsibility on shipment and customs procedure

• Coordinate the HK/TW/CN/Europe finish goods, semi-finished good, stones, and raw material logistic operations. (e.g.: custom documentations, forwarder communication, custom deposit and tax payment application, TIB management and etc.)

• Plan and manage the logistic operation model in production line (workshops) in cost-efficiency and compliance, including FTA, Carnet, TIB

• Monitor the movement of TIB shipment over all markets, alerting the issues of aging/costs/compliance, proposing the workable solution for optimization

• Closely work with Sales Team by providing prompt act to support sundry of sales activities, including but not limited to the distribution of stocks, scheduling shipment, end-to-end logistics arrangement and involving price negotiation, onsite sales support etc.

 

Contract Review & Budget Management (10%)

• Review and follow up global contract with forwarders (Ferrari, Malca-Amit, Brinks), responsible for hands-on negotiation of Price/KPIs/Service requirement etc.

• Review and follow up the insurance contract of group and improve cost efficiency, by properly fine-tuning insourced terms/amount to meet the dynamic business movement

• Manage budget/expenditure control for logistics costs

 

SOP, ERP Management & Others (10%)

• Standardize local operation and properly update/upgrade it towards the needs of business development and sales activities

• Ensure the ERP system accurately reflects all movements/ location of all items at all time

• Any other ad hoc duties requested by supervisor

 

Essential Qualifications

• Over 6-year experiences in Int’l logistics, be proficient in handling import/export by TIB, CARNET, ATA and such mainstream solution and SoP.

• Having wider experience and understanding on practice/know-how and regulation of customs affairs (TW/HK/CN/Europe)

• Expertise on the whole Logistic solution from Door-to-Door, can-do attitude by providing dynamic solution to meet business requirement

• Established proficiency in ERP system is required
