Merchandiser Outlet Planner, Korea

Christian Bassett is recruiting a Merchandiser Outlet Planner for a European luxury fashion company.

• The main objective of this position is to support the Outlet and Planning with elaboration of analyses aimed at managing the stock / sales for the retail network (3 outlets), to guarantee and appropriate coverage of stock to achieve company’s sales target and a responsible of merchandising forecasting and planning activities to enhance sales, inventory turn, and profitability.

MISSION

• Responsible for Outlet merchandise and actions to achieve the financial sales target, sell thru target by season / category / store in order to maximize sales opportunity while managing profitable stock level throughout product life cycle.
• Perform weekly sales analysis to local team and Headquarter
• Collaboration with the Headquarter outlet team to set up actions to maximize sales and monitor profitable stock level. Monitor Carry Over and Seasonal products and align and validate the monthly forecast by SKU according to the sales trend and product seasonality.
• Work closely with Operation, Communication and Visual Merchandising in monitoring the implementation quality & overall effectiveness and sell-thru of merchandise
• Collaborate with Headquarter Merchandising team in providing feedback on products, consumers trends & response
• Provide product knowledge training store on seasonal basis, communicate effectively and timely to facilitate selling staff to do effective selling
• Being a part of Merchandising with supporting ad hoc / general administration

Requirement

• Minimum 2-3 years of Merchandising and Planning
• Good understanding of products allocation and replenishment
• Analytical mind and interest in figures linked to products and markets
• Strong business sense and ability to dig deep to understand the business performance drivers
• Outstanding inter-personal and communication skills
• Flexibility for adapting priorities
• Excellent skills of excel and good knowledge of the MS Office pack
• Fluent in English
