Christian Bassett is recruiting a Private Client Manager for a luxury jewellery company.
 
• To meet and strive to exceed individual and sales goals while executing key strategies of retail led growth, operational excellence and all department category development.
• Owning the responsibility for developing new customers, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clientele.
 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
 
 Sales
• Act as brand ambassador to build relationships with new customers and VIP clientele.
• Meet and exceed sales targets assigned
• Acquire new VIP customers through proactive sales acquisition effort
• Assist in preparation and follow up tasks of client appointments and after sales service.
• Manage a portfolio of customers and continue to grow the network in order to increase customers' loyalty and generate sales
• Provide excellent service quality to VIP customers and maintain customer contacts
• Provide a hands-on, personalized customer support experience to promote brand loyalty and engagement.
 
Strategy
• Partner with Marketing team to support all exhibition and company events
• Provide regular updates on market and industry intelligence and competitor news. 
• Work with supervisor on developing sales and client development strategies.
 
Client Management
• Require travelling to assist in client appointments and events.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor and CEO.
• Identify and work in collaboration with potential intermediaries to develop new client network.
 
Academic Background requirement
• University degree or higher
 
Working Experience requirement
• Over 10 years working experience
• Art, Auction house, luxury background, or Financial Service like Private Banks is preferable
 
Language Skill requirements
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferable both Cantonese and Mandarin)
 
Certificate / Profession Skill requirements
• Competent in common business software such as Microsoft Office 365
• Knowledge of luxury jewellery or luxury fashion industry is a plus
• Knowledge & experience in handling gemstones & jewellery is required
 
Other specific Knowledge / Skills requirements
• Experience using ERP system a plus
