Regent Gallery Manager, Taipei

Christian Bassett is recruiting a Regent Gallery Manager, Taipei for a luxury jewellery company.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

• Location in Taipei, acting as the movable museum to present the most state of art collection.

• The Gallery Manager is responsible to lead the local in-house sales team, partnering with showroom sales in welcoming world-wide clients with exquisite and exclusive clients experience.

• The Gallery Manager has to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Gallery, which includes inventory management, administrative duties, and generate process improvements that drive sales and contribute towards the growth of our TW market. 

• To develop and execute strategies and business plan to facilitate the overall retail strategy.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

 

Leadership

• Develop and lead the Gallery sales team (including Sr./Jr. Aar Jewel Expert, and Private Client Manager for client engagement activities, private viewing events, and retail strategy execution to achieve business target. The Gallery Manager would ultimately be responsible for the topline of Gallery 

• Provide the highest level of customer service to our clients and maintain consistency, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests, to ensure a superb customer service experience

• Provide top management with an in-depth understanding of the international and local high jewellery market and reporting of issues, performance results, opportunities, client feedback and challenges, along with recommendations and action plans for improvement, fully developed and presented for approval

• Responsible for building relationships and network with our target clients. Including identifying, developing, and nurturing our target client base within Taiwan

 

Operations & Coordination:

• Align with the aesthetic of the brand to ensure the immaculate presentation of the Gallery (opening and closing check list deployment and execution)

• Liaise with inventory control to ensure the accuracy and the alignment of stock in shop as well as in the system

• Working with corporate administrative functions (I.T, HR) to assure cohesive and optimized workflow

• Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory in Gallery and their transfers to other locations

• To arrange for and oversee all maintenance activity in line with budgets

• To be responsible for all Health and Safety issues within the Gallery

 

Planning:

• Support the MD, and the Global / Regional marketing team on the overall retail planning 

• To contribute to the development of the annual strategic plan for Taiwan Market

• To collaborate with marketing on the event planning within the responsible region

• Maintaining company Mission & Vision Statements and Core Values in all aspects

 

Academic Background requirement

• University degree or higher

 

Working Experience requirement

• At least 15 years of working experience

• Art or luxury background required

 

Language Skill requirements

• Must be fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English

 

Certificate / Profession Skill requirements

• Competent in common business software such as Microsoft Office 365 

• Knowledge of luxury jewellery or luxury fashion industry is a plus

• Knowledge & experience in handling gemstones & jewellery is required

 

Other specific Knowledge / Skills requirements

• Experience using ERP system a plus
