Christian Bassett is recruiting a Retail Manager, Hong Kong for a European luxury fashion company.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Retail Management & Operations
• Take consideration of brand value, analyze the marketing situation, industry dynamics as well as setting the retail strategy of the brand;
• Allocation of sales target, review the business reports and follow-up sales progress;
• Supervise Store Manager / Store-in-charge to develop store activity plans and management tools according to the retail strategy and market situation;
• Set sales KPIs and motivate staff to achieve and exceed the yearly objectives & sales targets;
• Maintain good relationship with landlord, suggest expansion initiatives to team in charge of business development;
• Standardize, implement and optimize the retail operations and reporting in full compliance of laws and regulations as well as internal rules;
• Control the retail operations cost;
 
CRM
• Define and implement retail CRM strategy & targets, standardize related procedures and report in coordination with CRM department;
• Ensure a high level of customer service at stores;
• Develop tools and activities to ensure achievement of CRM goals and share feedback;
 
People Management and Development
• Responsible for retail people management, including talent acquisition, training, talent development, performance appraisal and etc.;
• Analyze the improvement area of the team and define training needs;
• Actively providing coach and guidance to the teams;
 
Cross Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with HR Department in talent acquisition, training and development, performance management and etc.;
• Provide initiatives, feedback and support related to marketing activities to PR Department;
• Provide buying and allocation suggestions as well as product feedback to Merchandising Department ;
• Coordinate with Merchandising department to ensure the stock level and proactively communicate with merchandising/VM;
• Collaborate with Finance Department in budget and expense planning.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
Tertiary education or above;
• A minimum of 9 years' retail experience with at least 3 years at senior management level, preferably in luxury industry;
• Strong business acumen, logical mind-set with outstanding communication skills;
• Excellent organizing and leadership skills;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese;
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP retail preferred;
• Willing to travel frequently.
