Christian Bassett is recruiting a Senior Retail Operation Associate, China for a luxury European watch & jewellery company.
 
Retail Operations:
 
• Assist in the day-to-day functioning of retail and franchising stores in China.
• Ensure operational efficiency and smooth store operations.
• Collaborate with store managers to implement operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and support in inventory management.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery for retail operations.
• Assist in training and developing store staff.
• Analyze sales data and trends to provide recommendations for improving retail KPIs.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Support the Retail Manager in ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
 
Trade Marketing/Retail In-Store Events:
• Assist the Retail Manager and The Agency in identifying and proposing new ideas and opportunities for in-store event programs.
• Work closely with the Agency on event operations, onsite schedules, and checklists.
• Assist the Agency with all application documents for government approval and security arrangements for events.
• Monitor event quality by overseeing operational details.
• Coordinate event administrative tasks and issues between retail shops and the office.
• Utilize resources of shopping malls, such as WeChat, Weibo, leaflets, websites, and POS systems, to enhance brand/product exposure.
• Manage trade marketing tools ordering for retail shops.
• Collaborate with the Agency to develop marketing tools, oversee production, and dispatch items such as mooncakes for VIPs.
 
Store Construction:
• Submit online applications and provide necessary information for each new store to the Corporate Retail Design Team.
• Assist the Retail Manager, Franchising partners (if any), and the Corporate Retail Design Team in negotiating with landlords for new store designs.
• Brief general contractors on the layout and drawings of new stores.
• Compare quotations from different general contractors.
• Monitor production to ensure timely store openings and check the alignment of store construction features with Company Standards set by the Corporate Retail Design Team.
 
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of experience in retail operations or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Solid ability to work in teams.
• Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
