Christian Bassett is recruiting a Store Manager for a luxury fashion company.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
Business Development and Sales Management
 
Achieve Targets and Goals:
• Attain individual sales and KPI targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, ensuring a luxury customer experience.
 
Develop Business and Foster Marketing Initiatives:
• Propose and promote services, made-to-measure (MTM), and ready-to-wear (RTW) products to address and overcome selling challenges.
• Cultivate and maintain ongoing, trustworthy customer relationships through effective CRM practices, including after-sales activities, thank-you notes, and follow-up calls.
 
KPIs: Number of tickets, UPT, cross-selling, AUR, VPT, number of interactions, new customer repeat rate, loyal customer retention.
 
Customer Understanding & Engagement
 
Champion a Customer-Centric Culture:
• Resolve and escalate customer issues or complaints with empathy, adhering to customer service policies.
• Deliver a memorable luxury customer experience by understanding clients’ needs, conveying brand messages through storytelling, and ensuring the execution of the company’s Selling Flow.
 
Develop Customer Database:
• Collect and analyze customer contact information, preferences, and lifestyle details to create comprehensive customer profiles in line with CRM guidelines.
• KPIs: Number of tickets, UPT, cross-selling, AUR, VPT, number of interactions, new customer repeat rate, loyal customer retention.
 
Team Development and Team Spirit
 
Align and Cascade:
• Support the orientation and integration of new staff members and keep the team informed about customer, product, and store information.
 
Talent Management and Team Spirit:
• Serve as a role model and enhance team morale, creating an enthusiastic and engaged sales environment.
 
• KPIs: Shift management, achievement of store revenue targets (monthly/annually), demonstration of the company's values.
 
Brand Presentation
 
Product:
• Report any discrepancies in store inventories, such as labeling or inventory levels.
 
Visual Merchandising (VM) and Impact:
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming in accordance with the company’s uniform and grooming guidelines.
• Adhere to the company’s product and gift packaging standards to uphold the brand’s luxury image.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the store environment and product displays.
• Implement the company’s Visual Merchandising guidelines, support window displays, and manage back-of house operations.
 
Retail Training:
• Actively participate in retail training to gain comprehensive brand and product knowledge.
• Train team members on new products as assigned by the Store Manager (Advanced - Senior CA).
 
KPIs: Adherence to visual and grooming standards.
 
Retail and Store Operations
 
Guidelines Compliance:
• Follow store operations, time, and attendance policies, and adhere to the directions of the Store
• Manager or appointed team member for operational tasks.
 
Risk Management and Health & Safety:
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, communicate potential risks promptly, and follow security procedures.
 
Store Digital Services:
• Efficiently and accurately utilize store systems as needed.
 
KPIs: Inventory results, shrinkage.
• Partnerships
 
• Internal: Collaborate with Store Operations, Merchandising, VM, and Training teams.
 
External: Engage with customers and vendors.
• Background and Principal Skills Required for the Position
 
Functional Competences:
• Expertise in selling, product knowledge, and adherence to policy and compliance.
• Skills in styling, storytelling, and clienteling.
• Commitment to the company’s values of elegance, sensuality, perfectionism, provocation, exclusivity, and high quality.
 
 Key Experiences:
• Proven in-store experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in hospitality or luxury sectors.
 
Education:
• Junior college degree or higher.
 
Languages:
• Basic English is mandatory, with a preference for a second language such as Mandarin.
 
Travel Requirements:
• Mobility is preferred for this role to accommodate potential travel needs and store visits.
