Christian Bassett is recruiting a Store planning 3D Renderer for a European luxury watch & jewellery company.
• Work hand in hand with the HQ design team
• Position based in Hong-Kong
Mission:
• Be in charge of 3D rendering & Vtours for stores and support the brand in enhancing its design.
Key responsibilities:
• 2D (Photoshop)
• Provide coloured floor plans & Elevations (Photoshop), to help the design team defining the store finishes for the renders
• 3D (Sketch-up, 3DSMAX, Vtour, Revit…)
• Provide sketch-ups of technical elements that can be resolved only in 3D (façade, stairs…)
• Provide high quality and resolved 3DSMAX renders of stores (interior and façade). We expect renders that sell a “dream” with a feminine and poetic touch, and that reflect a perfect understanding of the finishes, colours, details, lights, textures.
• Provide 360 Vtours of the stores so that the design team can have a virtual walk-through and assess the space proportions, clearances…
• Support the design team in visualizing the space first with a white box; and then with coloured renders to assess the finishes, ceiling design, lighting, furniture….
• Collaborate with the design team to develop virtually new refined finishes/textures, and try out new materials or new architectural elements onto the renders.
• Support the design team on Revit when required
Technical skills:
• Brilliant rendering skills & Fast worker
• Excellent Skills in Photoshop, Sketch-up, Autocad, Revit, 3DSmax,Vtour….
• Able to review/understand design & construction drawings
• Maintain an organized library of 3D assets and resources.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 3D visualization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to 3D visualization software and hardware.
• Communicate effectively with design team to ensure project goals are met.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure all work is completed within project deadlines
Soft skills:
• Capacity to understand the brand’s design style and DNA
• Excellent understanding of the finishes and colours
• Excellent understanding for interior atmospheres / “moods”
• Interest in arts, architecture and design
• Sense for perfection and detail orientated
• Be Aware of latest trends, and competitors
• Able to cope with design changes
• Proactive, Fast, Organized, Precise and Efficient
• Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence with a can-do- spirit
• Language Skills: Good English and ability to understand a designer’s brief
