Christian Bassett is recruiting a Visual Merchandising Manager, Japan for a European luxury fashion company.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage and execute visual display presentation: Ensure all the stores are in great standard according to the HQ guidelines.
• Concept development: Adapt the HQ concept, and develop it to fit the local market/merchandise collections. And deliver the new concept to the stores in Japan.
• Communications and Reports: Communicate with HQ for weekly window and in-store display setup.
• And review Visual Visit Reports monthly before archiving.
• Visual Coaching: Provide visual coaching/training to the local VMs and Stores managers and staffs.
• Store Opening: Prepare and setup the new opening stores with visual tools ordering, new store / windows display setups.
• Showroom and Event Setup: Setup Showroom and for various events / functions. Work with PR/Retail
• Operations Department for any event visual setup.
• Visual Tools Expense co-ordination: VM Budget Planning and Co-ordinate with Finance Department for correct visual expense payment; Co-ordinate with Logistics Department for shipping / storage arrangements.
Qualifications
• Minimum 7-10 years of working experience in fashion retail
• High level of creativity
• A flair for merchandising display
• Positive attitude and good energy
• Ability to work on all levels of organization
• Flexible under scrutiny and open to constructive feedback
• Excellent planning and communications skills
• Fluent in English & Japanese
